What are Role types and Site access?

Definitions and details of various permissions on the Appellon platform.

What are role types?

Role types restrict or give access to different areas of the platform and different abilities. An example of this is the 'Super Admin' role type - 'Super Admins' can view all areas, edit members' details, create sites and more. Details below:

 

User Type

Permissions

SUPER ADMIN

Super Admins are responsible for administering programs within the Appellon Platform. Admins have the most permissions.

Admins can:

  • See all dashboards & data

  • Set permissions for Leaders & Workforce access to view dashboards

  • Upload and amend all user data

  • Amend the details related to the organisation (including sites)

  • Change permissions for all users

  • Change emails for all users

SITE ADMIN

Super Admins can grant site-level admin permission to allow members from within a site to manage their own data.

  • See all site dashboards & data

  • Set permissions for Leaders & Workforce access to view site dashboards

  • Upload and amend all site user data

  • Change permissions for all site users

  • Change emails for all site users

LEADER

Leaders are participants in the Lead-Rite Program. When tagged as Leaders they will::

  • Receive invitations to complete scheduled Lead-Rite lessons.

  • Will have access to Lead-Rite data displayed on dashboards

WORKFORCE

The rest of the users tagged as ‘Workforce’ and are included as participants in the Work-Rite Program.

When tagged as Workforce they will:

Receive invitations to complete scheduled Work-Rite lessons.

  • Will have access to Work-Rite data displayed on dashboards according to permissions selected by Admin Users.

VIEW ONLY

People with view-only access can view the dashboards but will be inactive members who will not be sent any communications or make any edits to the platform.
